Cub Bucks are a way for Scouts to earn Cub Money for camp-outs and other activities through participation and hard work. Each Scout will have an individual Cub Bucks account which will be monitored by our Cub Bucks Coordinator.
Scouts can earn Cub Bucks in many different ways.
Each Scout can earn up to (5) Cub Bucks for attending a Pack Meeting (1) Cub Buck for attending a pack meeting, (1) Cub Buck if he wears his uniform, (1) Buck if he brings one or more of his parents. (1) Cub Buck for being at the meeting on time and (1) Bonus Cub Buck for meeting ALL of the 1st four requirements. Therefore, it is possible to earn Five (5) Cub Bucks at each pack meeting. Cub Bucks will not be awarded for attending den meetings.
Cub Bucks will also be awarded for selling popcorn. A scout will be given 25% of his popcorn sales in Cub Bucks. For example, if a Scout sells $200 worth of popcorn, he will earn 50 Cub Bucks.
Service projects are another way to earn Cub Bucks. Fifteen (15) Cub Bucks will be awarded for participating in each project such as Scouting For Food and Public Lands Day.
Also, a Cub may earn (10) Cub Bucks for recruiting a new Scout.
