Location – Theo Ratliff Activity Center The recreation department offers a youth basketball program for boys and girls ages 7 to 15. It begins with a camp held during the Christmas Holidays. Participants learn fundamentals and basic skills of basketball. The camp is open to boys and girls age 7-10. However, all boys and girls age 7-15 are eligible to participate in league play. If enough girls register for league play, there will be girls and boys ONLY teams. Otherwise, they are combined. Age cut-off date is March 1 of the current season. Players cannot turn 16 before March 1 and must turn 7 before March 1. Deadline for camp registration is the first day of camp. Deadline for league registration is the last day of camp.* Registration fee for the camp only is $15.00. Camp and League registration combined is $40.00* and league only is $35.00*. All League participants will receive a T-shirt. Season begins the first Saturday in January and continues through the last Saturday in February. For further information, contact Ed Ward at 289-2200.
